CC9E03: Detroit, Ireland & Disco

In the CC9 science guest spot: Nichola Plowman

As it’s getting warmer outside, its definitely getting hot in the CatCave. Our very own MC Mark Venning-Slater and his 8 Catalyzers took the fully booked Cinema Oblò on a tour of 2h of short and long-form improv.

We all learned a lot about what’s going on in the ecosystem that is Dane’s hair and saw actual Higgs Bosoms in collision. With it being St. Patrick’s day ?, our Catalyzers also grasped the opportunity to act out the history of the Irish people’s links to Detroit, disco music, and the impending Irish folk apocalypse.

Our science guest spot this time was Nichola Plowman from the Department of Ecology and Conservation Biology at the Czech Academy of Sciences, who talked about her exciting work on the ecosystems of tropical rainforests.

And don’t worry, we will be back: Next show is on 21.04.2016!
