CatCave9 S02E02: How to art, love, and threesome.

In the science guest spot: Andrea Kay from UNIL

What if the pictures you have hanging on your walls at home came alive and talked to you? What would they say? Would that amusing or scary? This and many other what-ifs were dealt with grace, panache, and the kind of honesty that comes from the improviser’s heart, by eight catalysts in our February show.

A full house, eased, teased and pleased by our own MC Daisy, enjoyed our talented dancers represent Romeo and Juliet’s foolishness (or was it true love?) and the momentous invention of electricity (or was it a discovery?).

In the CatCave9 science guest spot we had Andrea Kay from ARVE at UNIL talking about reconstruction of sub-Saharan land use. Our CatCavers took this opportunity to fumble around in Yuliy’s past, in a series of deep investigations of all the photos hidden away in his closet. We’re still wondering what millet is (if you do know, please let us know at thecatalyst@thecatalyst.ch).

Finally, our very own Hedwig electrified us with the sound of her live harp, during a Harold. We found out how to almost pull off a successful menage-a-trois, and get confused by art. Also, we witnessed the great Questing of PiuPiu and his master for some eggs, milk, and flour.

Missed this one? We got you covered! Join us for the next show at Cinema Oblo on Thursday 23 March. Be prepared for unexpected discoveries, inventions, and millet.
